No hitches, just hitched!

The Royal Wedding went off with barely a hitch.

Just a bit of extra work to get the ring on Kate's finger!

But other than that, it was a great day for all involved.

Kate will now be known as:

"Her Royal Highness the Duchess of Cambridge".

Her parents will not automatically receive titles, but it is

possible that the Queen may grant them this privilege.

Something that is very evident, is how much support there

is out there for the Royal heritage. 600,000 were expected,

it seems estimates are that a lot more people showed up and

celebrated the day.

And now the story changes again, as the fairy tale wedding passes

into memory, and the work of being a member of "The Firm", as

the Royal Family is known, will begin.

Wedding Day!

Fantastic day for the Royal couple.

Prince William and Kate, as a couple said their vows, incidently, she did not promise

to obey William,  and the Archbishop of Canterbury, Rowan Williams, read the

declaration: "I pronounce that they be man and wife together, in the name of the

Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost. Amen."

The Royal Wedding ran beautifully today to an audience of millions.
William and Kate kissed on the balcony, two times, and, after a buffet
reception, drove out of the palace in Prince Charles' Aston Martin with
a "ju5t wed" licence plate attached to the back of the vehicle with floating balloons.

Upon their marriage, the Queen has made them the Duke and Ducchess of Cambridge.

Katherine will now be know as your highness.

48 hours to go until the wedding begins!

Kate and family are moving into position in the Luxury Goring hotel in London.
All kinds of packages and clothing bags have been seen to be delivered to
the hotel. Family and friends have gathered. Miss Middleton has been taking
some her her last rides as a single lady near her home. With forty eight hours
or so to go before this huge national event, the armed forces have conducted
rehearsals in the early hours this morning on the route the couple will travel.
And all is under control!

Weather blues? Not likely!

Special plans have been drawn up by courtiers in case it rains on Friday.
William and Kate plan to use the open-top 1902 State Landau, however should there be wet weather on the day,

they will use the Glass Coach which transported Lady Diana Spencer in er 1981 wedding to Prince Charles.

It has been noted that it rained on the day of Queen Elizabeth's coronation in the year 1953.

Weather on the day!

Weather in the UK, temperature dropped quite a bit yesterday.

But is quite warm today, sky is reasonably clear.

Hope we will have nice weather for the wedding.

 

Showers may be expected to affect the southeast of the country on Friday 29th,  the day of the wedding,

so bring your umbrella if you are going to be in London. It is a "maybe" for showers, so there is still only a 45% chance of showers

during the wedding celebrations.

Housing

Credit is gradually improving, the average housing deposit in the UK,

has fallen to twenty percent and the number of mortgages has increased.

House prices arguably will stay low for quite a while to come.

Some sources think that because these areas are particlularly predictable,

house prices may stay in a sideway pattern for the next couple of years.

Royal Viewing figures.

The world wide audience for the Royal Wedding is expected to be

in the region of two billion people. Twenty million approximately are

expected to watch the wedding event of the year on television,

one million on big screens across the UK, and a huge number

will watch live across the internet.
