Eurostar passengers are facing a third day of disruption as severe weather conditions continue to force cancellations of the high-speed service between London, Paris and Brussels.
However, Eurostar engineers have offered a glimmer of hope for Christmas travel by announcing they have identified the problem which left more than 2,000 passengers trapped in the Channel Tunnel overnight on Friday.
A spokesperson has confirmed that trials are taking place today to make sure that the trains can run through the heavy snow and an announcement about tomorrow's service will be made at 6pm today.
