Seems like they now have their site in gear, we checked it a few days ago.
It was very difficult to bring up information on Libya, should have been front page immediately. We particularly enjoyed the part about emergency passports being available for £71, your government at work for you.
At least they seem to have a grasp now that the action required is to help British Nationals get out of the country, and to do it, not order faulty airplanes and wait for permission to land.
British psychology revealed in it's limited glory. Waiting for permission, when you have to push.
