BBC News - England riots: One photographer's baptism of fire

Quite a powerful flash sequence of images taken by a photographer during the riots in London this last summer. He used his mobile phone camera during the day to avoid trouble, then switched to using his camera at night when there was less chance of being attacked by the rioters. He had seem several photographers being manhandled by rioters when he arrived.
This situation was a real shame for London, especially with the Olympic games just a year away. The images are a stunning reminder.
