Saturday 19 and Sunday 20 November, suspended between Tower Hill and Upminster. Saturday, after 2000, and Sunday, before 1300, also suspended between Wimbledon and Putney Bridge. Rail replacement buses operate.
Service A: between Canning Town and Tower Hill, calling at Bromley-by-Bow, Bow Road, Mile End, Stepney Green, Whitechapel and Aldgate East.
Service B: between Mile End and Barking, calling at Bow Road, Stratford, Upton Park and East Ham.
Service C: between Dagenham East and Barking, calling at Dagenham Heathway, Becontree and Upney.
Service D: between Upminster and Barking, calling at Upminster Bridge, Hornchurch, Elm Park and Dagenham East.
Service E (Saturday after 2000, Sunday before 1300): between Putney Bridge and Wimbledon, calling at East Putney, Southfields and Wimbledon Park.
Service F (Saturday after 2000, Sunday before 1300): between Putney Bridge and Wimbledon.
Minor delays are occurring between between Earls Court and Wimbledon due to a failure at East Putney.

From Sunday 3 April until Sunday 27 November 2011, Northern line trains will not stop at this station. Central line trains will operate as usual.
Customers for the Northern line should use nearby Goodge Street or Leicester Square stations. Customers travelling on the Central line should change at Oxford Circus for the Victoria line to Warren street or Bakerloo line to Charing Cross for the Northern line.

Until late February 2012 there is a reduced escalator service between Bank station and the DLR. For the easiest escalator route to/from street level and the DLR use Monument station. To change from the Waterloo & City line to the DLR exit the Waterloo & City line via the moving walkway and follow signs to the DLR via the Northern line ticket hall.

GOING TO COVENT GARDEN? Covent Garden station gets very busy at weekends and in the evenings, but you can avoid the crowds by walking there from Leicester Square (6 minutes) or Holborn (9 minutes). The short walk is clearly signposted above ground and maps are on display at both stations.

While maintenance work takes place there is no down escalator service until late November. Access to the platforms is via fixed stairs. If you are unable to use the stairs take bus 6 or 414 from stop K to Edgware Road or bus 6 or 187 from stop H to Queen's Park.
