Labour’s fragrant MP Luciana Berger, 29, pictured, who has been voted Parliament’s sexiest MP (ousting long-time Commons vamp Caroline Flint, now looking rather glum) picks her consorts with care.
She stepped out with Euan Blair before dating the then-up-and- coming minister Sion Simon. Now the hon member for Liverpool Wavertree has taken up with Streatham’s Labour MP Chuka Umunna, Ed Miliband’s parliamentary private secretary, also pictured.
He is hailed, implausibly, as the party’s answer to Barack Obama as well as the sexiest MP in Parliament.
All these things are relative, of course. Prior to the Berger-Umunna hook-up, Ed Balls and his wife, Yvette Copper, were considered Labour’s glamour couple.
